Micratch Jr. Course

Micratch Jr. Course is for lower elementary school students. In the world of Minecraft, children learn mathematics such as arithmetic operations, coordinates, etc. and then they create quizzes and attraction games.
The course will help to develop logical mind through thinking where to put blocks in desirable places, how to know other players reaching the goal, etc.
※ An instructor will be assigned per 3 - 4 children.

Micratch Course

In Micratch Course, children create a full-scale game that can be played in Minecraft. The game type can be chosen according to children's interests or learning levels from an attraction game that aims at a goal while jumping from steps to steps, TNT mining that collects ores with care not to dig a bomb, a battle game that creates a boss character to program its strength and attacking, etc. The course is also suitable and enjoyable for children who are new to Minecraft or programming.

Game Production Course

In Game Production Course, children try to create an enjoyable game using Scratch. Children can learn programming with fun from the basic “conditional branch” and “repetition” to practical “random numbers” and “variable” necessary for game development, through making an acrobatic flight game or a drone racing game.

Because the game type can be chosen according to children's interests or learning levels, the course is suitable for a wide range of learners from programming beginners to advanced learners.

Yuji Ikeshita

After graduating from university, worked on a number of translations/editing of Japanese-English movie scenario books at an English material publisher. As representative works, there are scenario books for global-hits such as “The Mummy", “The Negotiator" and “Trainspotting", while also worked as a editor-in-chief.
Studied in the U.S. graduate school as a global trainee when worked for the publishing company, and got a master's degree in English teaching method TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). After that, contributed to child education by teaching English and mathematics as a cram school teacher from elementary school students to university entrance level. Currently working for system development as a programmer as well as English teacher.
Qualifications with regard to English: TOEIC 970 (perfect score: 990) / MS in TESOL (Master's degree) / EIKEN Grade Pre-1


Kodai Mizushima

Studied programming and multimedia at the university and supported D-SCHOOL as a programmer at the same time. Have a teaching license in high school with a deep knowledge of programming education.
An outstanding Minecraft user in Japan with an experience over 7 years. Developing courses in which children can learn with fun from the viewpoints of a Minecraft user, an active programmer and an educationist.
